Village Green Announces Key Executive Promotions

Apartment Management Company Prepares for Continued National Growth
 
Farmington Hills, MI, March 1, 2017 – Village Green, one of the nation’s largest apartment companies formally announced the members of its newly formed Executive Team. President/COO Diane Batayeh, along with Senior Vice Presidents David Ferszt and Barbara Hale were promoted, creating the leadership team responsible for directing Village Green’s future growth and evolution.
 
The ownership consolidation Village Green experienced in 2016 transformed the company to exclusively third party property management necessitating structural and strategic changes. The company’s Board of Directors made the announcement stating, “Our leadership structure at Village Green is evolving to maintain a premium brand, enable strategic growth and expand our presence and influence within the apartment industry. Diane, Dave, and Barb will constitute the newly formed Executive Team of Village Green and together they will continue to steer our company forward, insuring that we grow and prosper well into the future.“
 
President /COO Diane Batayeh is being promoted to CEO, where she will concentrate on global and strategic level initiatives and planning for all of Village Green’s operating companies. Batayeh will continue representing the company in industry organizations including being a member of the Executive Committee for the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
 
Senior Vice President of Property Operations, David Ferszt, is being promoted to President of Village Green Management Company, overseeing all of the regional and corporate teams responsible for apartment management and related services. He will also lead the initiatives underway into new technologies, touch point customer satisfaction surveys, business intelligence and multiple other processes designed to maximize operating margins and customer satisfaction.
 
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Barbara Hale, is being promoted to Executive Vice President of Village Green Holding. In her new role, she will be responsible for all of the Sales, Marketing and Branding services, initiatives, and practices for all Village Green companies, including V-Suites, the company’s corporate housing division.
 
Combined the new Executive Team have approximately 60 years of experience at Village Green. In 2016, Real Estate Forum recognized Diane Batayeh as a “Women of Influence” and David Ferszt as a “Top 50 Under 40” real estate executive. Under Barbara Hale’s leadership V-Suites has received  “Best and Brightest Company to Work For” and “Coolest Place to Work” awards in 2015 and 2016.
