Village Green Opens Leasing Office for Southside Works City Apartments
PITTSBURGH, PA, January 22, 2016 – Village Green, one of the nation’s oldest and largest apartment owners and operators, opened the leasing office for Southside Works City Apartments, in Pittsburgh. Early interest in the apartment community has already exceeded expectations; occupancy is scheduled for spring 2016.
The environmentally-conscious green building will have 264 acoustically-engineered luxury apartments and penthouses; 53 unique floorplans ranging from studios to two bedrooms with 9 ft. to 12 ft. ceilings; and four distinct finish packages. The property has views of the Monongahela River, the adjacent marina and Pittsburgh.
Residents will have access to a clubroom with a fireplace, bar and gourmet kitchen; an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub; a Zen garden and entertainment courtyard with an outdoor movie screen; a boutique hotel-style lobby with concierge service; and an attached parking garage. The mixed-use apartment community will offer a 12,000 sq. ft. specialty market.
Southside Works City Apartments is the second of five apartment communities that Village Green is planning in Pittsburgh. The first, Morrow Park City Apartments, recently opened. The two developments represent more than a $100 million investment in Pittsburgh.
