New Luxury Apartments Being Built Next to Route 59 Train Station

CHICAGO, January 6, 2016 – Construction has just begun on Metro 59 Apartments, an eight-building luxury apartment community, located in Aurora, adjacent to the Route 59 Metra Rail Station to Chicago.

Metro 59 Apartments is owned by a joint venture of Next Generation Capital Partners and Avgeris and Associates, Inc. and managed by Village Green. The 460-unit apartment community will be built in two phases. Phase one (232 units) is expected to be completed in early 2017 with first occupancy expected in August 2016. Phase two (228 units) is expected to start shortly after the first phase is stabilized.

Metro 59 will be a contemporary apartment community designed with commuters in mind. It is walking distance to mass transit and within one mile of a major retail shopping mall. “There are numerous apartment options in the Aurora/Naperville area, but there’s very little with such easy and direct access to the Metra train with the extensive lifestyle amenities that Metro 59 will have,” said James P. Hughes, Jr, CEO of Next Generation Capital Partners, at the recent groundbreaking ceremony.

Metro 59 Apartments will provide residents a clubhouse, state of the art fitness and business centers, clubroom/coffee bar, spa retreat with steam room and whirlpool spa as well as outdoor activities featuring a signature pool, volleyball, dog park and bocce ball courts. Each unit will include granite countertops, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, wood flooring and wireless internet.

“Metro 59 will stand out as a premier, resort-like community and Village Green is proud to be selected to manage it. This is the sixth property we manage for Avgeris and Associates, and the 26th property we manage in the greater Chicago area,” said Bob Gleason of Village Green.
