Village Green President Honored as Woman of Influence

Farmington Hills, MI, August 15, 2016 – Village Green, one of the nation’s largest apartment companies, announced that Diane Batayeh, President and Chief Operating Officer is being honored by Real Estate Forum magazine as one of its 2016 Women of Influence. The magazine bestows the awards once a year to women who have made significant contributions to the real estate field.

Batayeh was noted for her 36 years with Village Green where she has risen through the ranks to become President / COO in 2014. She is directly responsible for the oversight of all of Village Green’s operating companies and plays an integral role in the development and implementation of the Village Green business plans and strategic initiatives.

Ms. Batayeh joined the company in 1980, starting her tenure in Ann Arbor as a part-time leasing consultant while earning a master’s degree from The University of Michigan. She has accumulated a breadth of experience in every aspect of the apartment business, including sales, management operations, marketing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, finance, market research and construction.
